INDIANA ADVOCATE •
Kem Moore (They/Him)
My life changed one December Day in 1995. I tested positive for HIV while in rehabilitation for my substance use and abuse. Not knowing what to do, I applied for a job with American Red Cross and became a peer educator. Fast forward to 2023, I currently work as a program coordinator for a harm reducation program. My greatest thrill today is working for Health Not Prisons and the HIV modernization movement in the great state of Indiana, and attending AIDSWatch 2023. I am thankful to the Sero Project and others for this journey.
“I am thrilled to be an ambassador with the Health Not Prisons Advocates Project. Often times, I wonder if the assignment is real. Today, I know the assignment is real.”
